Reading the result
- The count is whole days between today and the target, so a deadline tomorrow shows as one day.
- Business days are shown alongside because deadlines are usually met with working time, not elapsed time — a fortnight is ten working days, not fourteen.
Assumptions and limitations
- Business days assume a Monday to Friday week with no public holidays. Add those separately for a real project schedule.
- Dates are handled in your device’s local time, with no timezone conversion.
Common mistakes
- Planning against calendar days when the work happens on business days, which overstates available time by about 40%.
