Time Card Calculator
Total a weekly timesheet from daily clock-in and clock-out times.
What the Time Card Calculator does
A time card totals daily clock-in and clock-out times into weekly hours, deducting unpaid breaks and splitting anything above the overtime threshold. The decimal column is what payroll systems expect.
Formula
Daily hours = (Clock out − Clock in) − Unpaid breakWeekly total = Sum of daily hoursOvertime = max(0, Weekly total − Threshold)

Frequently asked questions
How do I enter an overnight shift?
Enter it normally, such as 22:00-06:00. An end time earlier than the start is automatically treated as the following day.
Why does payroll want decimal hours?
Because pay is hours multiplied by rate. 7 hours 45 minutes is 7.75 hours; entering 7.45 would underpay by 18 minutes.
