Crypto Investment Calculator

Project what a crypto investment could be worth at a target price.

Please note: Cryptocurrency is highly volatile and can lose value rapidly. All prices are entered manually — no live market data is used. Nothing here is investment advice.

What the Crypto Investment Calculator does

This models a straightforward buy-and-hold: how many units your money buys at the entry price, and what those units would be worth if the price reached your target. It is a scenario tool, not a prediction.

Formula

  • Quantity = (Investment − Fees) ÷ Entry price
  • Value at target = Quantity × Target price
  • ROI = (Value − Investment) ÷ Investment × 100

Frequently asked questions

How much of my portfolio should be in crypto?

Conventional guidance suggests only what you can afford to lose entirely — commonly cited as 1–5% of investable assets. The volatility is far beyond that of equities.
