What CalcBrand stores, what it never collects, and how analytics and advertising cookies are handled.
The short version
CalcBrand does not collect your data. Every calculation happens locally in your browser, and no input you type is transmitted anywhere.
What is stored on your device
Your theme preference (light, dark or system) is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it between visits, along with which calculators you have marked as favorites and, for most calculators, a short recent-calculation history (the values you entered and the result) so you can pick up where you left off. Health-category calculators only remember that you opened the tool, never the figures you typed. If you create a Project to track a set of calculations together, its data is kept locally the same way. Your cookie choice is stored the same way. All of this stays in your browser — clearing your browser data or using the in-app clear/remove controls removes it, and none of it is ever sent to us.
What is never collected
No accounts, and nothing you type into a calculator is ever transmitted to CalcBrand, logged on a server, or shared with anyone — every calculation runs entirely in your browser. The local history described above stays on your own device under your control; we never see it.
Analytics cookies
With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which calculators are used, so we know what to improve. It records pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and referring site. It never receives the values you enter into a calculator. If you decline, Google Analytics runs in a cookieless mode that sets no identifiers.
Advertising cookies
Advertising keeps the site free. With your consent, Google AdSense, Google Ads and other third-party vendors may use cookies, your IP address, web beacons and similar identifiers to show and measure ads, and to limit how often you see the same one. Ads personalised this way may be based on your visits to CalcBrand and to other websites. If you decline, ads are non-personalised — they may still use limited data for security, fraud prevention and frequency capping, but not to build a profile of you. You can review or change Google’s own ad settings at adssettings.google.com.
Your choice
You are asked once, on your first visit, and nothing beyond the necessary is loaded until you answer. Declining costs you nothing — every calculator works identically either way. Change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.
Third parties
Apart from the Google services described above, the site loads no third-party scripts or fonts. Your host or CDN may keep standard server logs such as IP addresses and request times; check that provider's policy.
Children
The site is not directed at children and asks for no personal information from anyone. Advertising is not personalised for users identified as minors.
