Editorial Policy
What governs the content on CalcBrand, and what we do not claim.
Who this is
CalcBrand is an independent, self-published calculator site. There is no editorial board, no panel of named reviewers and no claimed professional credential behind any page — stating otherwise would be untrue, so we do not.
How content is drafted
Some explanatory content — explanations, formulas, worked examples and FAQs — may be drafted with AI assistance. Every worked example is checked by actually running the calculator’s own formula against it, not by inspection alone, and changes are reviewed as part of the site’s release process before deployment.
How risk is disclosed
A calculator’s caution notice is chosen for what that specific calculator computes, not for the shelf it sits on — a category is a browsing convenience, not a statement about risk. A page that touches health, tax, electrical safety or engineering carries a notice written for that topic; a percentage or unit-conversion calculator carries none, because a warning repeated on every page is one people learn to skip.
What we do not do
We do not attribute a page to a named expert, doctor, engineer or financial adviser who has not actually reviewed it. We do not invent a credential, a review date or a citation to make a page look more authoritative than the work behind it. Where a source could not be verified, the page says so rather than filling the gap.
