What the Forex Lot Size Calculator does

Forex is traded in standardised lot sizes. A standard lot is 100,000 units of the base currency, with mini, micro and nano lots each a tenth of the one above. Lot size sets your pip value and therefore your risk per pip.

Formula

  • Units = Lots × Lot size
  • Standard = 100,000 · Mini = 10,000 · Micro = 1,000 · Nano = 100
