Forex Commission Calculator

Calculate broker commission per lot and the total cost of a round turn.

Please note: Forex trading carries a high risk of loss, amplified by leverage. Exchange rates must be entered manually — no live market data is used.

What the Forex Commission Calculator does

Commission-based forex accounts charge a fixed fee per lot traded, usually on both entry and exit, in exchange for much tighter spreads. Total cost per round turn is what matters when comparing brokers.

Formula

  • Commission = Lots × Rate per lot × Sides charged

Frequently asked questions

Commission account or spread-only?

Add the two together. A 0.1-pip spread plus $7 round turn on a standard lot is $8 total; a 1.2-pip spread-only account is $12. The commission account wins here.
